Not Me! Monday

I love the thought of Not Me! Monday. It came from MckMama. I don't know how good I will be at it, but I thought I would give it a try.

I did not just sit on the couch and try to sleep this morning while my children watch Mickey Mouse Club house. I certainly did not stay up till 12:00 a.m watching a movie with my loving husband. I did not stay up till 1:00 in the morning cleaning because we had some Friends coming from Oklahoma and I wanted my house to be clean from top to bottom.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We really didn't paint my kitchen and living room in six hours on Saturday and my husband certainly didn't step in the paint can, which didn't make a huge mess. We didn't scrap what paint we could off the floor and use on the walls. We didn't forget to paint the part under the build in china cabinet. I didn't try to encourage children stay in there room while we did all of this.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I certainly didn't loose track of the days my children had got a bath. It hadn't been three day since they had a bath. They didn't not go from Wednesday night to Sunday morning with out having a bath....nope not me!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I don't wash things in pockets of clothing all the time because I forget to check so see if there is anything in them.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Feel free to do your own Not Me! Monday post. It is really fun and freeing. It helps you realize that your not the only one who doesn't do it.

  2. LOL... my husband has so much CRAP in his pockets all the time. Now I just pull it all out and place it on him. Maybe he'll learn... but it's been 5 years and now his sons are picking up on his bad habits...
As far as shopping with my children, the first thing I learned how to say once in Japan was excuse me "sumimasen" and I'm sorry "Gomen nasai" because my children would just go crazy in public. Of course, it's my kids who cry and scream all through the commissary and BX (our Wal-mart type place on base, so you know someone knows me while my children are acting crazy and watching what I will do)
