(just so you know that it has taken me ten days to write this post and it even isn't that long of a post nor very profound)

I feel like I am going through a purging season in life.
Getting ride of junk.
Getting ride of Strongholds
Getting ride of negative thoughts
Getting ride of Anger
This isn't just the kind of of purge that takes just a little by little, but big chunks of parts. It is really hard. The other day I was just so sick and tired of being this nasty person that I allow to come through.
Yes you read correctly! I do allow myself to go and act like an insane person.
I do know that in the end I am not going to be the same person.
As much as it hurt some times, I am excited about this change. I am excited for my kids and my husband. I am excited about how it will change my relationship with God.
I am feeling the Heat from God and know that it is a good thing. He is just purging some of the junk!.
This song has been running through my head for a while. Enjoy
Once Again, by Matt Redman
Jesus Christ, I think upon Your sacrifice
You became nothing, poured out to death
Many times I've wondered at Your gift of life
And I'm in that place once again
I'm in that place once again
And once again I look upon the cross where You died
I'm humbled by Your mercy and I'm broken inside
Once again I thank You
Once again I pour out my life
Now You are exalted to the highest place
King of the heavens, where one day I'll bow
But for now, I marvel at Your saving grace
And I'm full of praise once again
I'm full of praise once again
Thank You for the cross
Thank You for the cross
Thank You for the cross, my Friend
I am just so humbled by God right now. That He loves me so much! Even though I don't understand everything right now, I am resting under HIS Wings!
Psalm 91
1. He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
2. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."
3. Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence.
4. He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
5. You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,
6. nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.
7. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.
8. You will only observe with your eyes and see the punishment of the wicked.
9. If you make the Most High your dwelling-- even the Lord, who is my refuge--
10. then no harm will befall you, no disaster will come near your tent.
11. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;
12. they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13. You will tread upon the lion and the cobra; you will trample the great lion and the serpent.
14. "Because he loves me," says the Lord, "I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15. He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.
16. With long life will I satisfy him and show him my salvation.
I hope that this post isn't all over the place. It is just want it on my heart!
