First Day of School

I had to do the typical first day of school picture of the boys.  They both went this year. Micah is in Pre-K and Levi is in Kindergarden.  I am not sure where time has went but they are both now in school.

Carolyn's 13th Birthday Party.

This year Carolyn {my niece} turned 13 on February the 13th.  She was a Friday the 13th baby.  Trust me we have given her a hard time about it from the day she was born.  My sister is is going through chemotherapy treatments right now, but she decided to go ahead and have her daughter a birthday party.  Carolyn's birthday parties are hard to plan because you never know what the weather is going to do.  So My sister decided to have it towards the end of the month which worked out perfect.

My boys call her Sissy because when they were learning to talk that is what we all called her. She LOVES its! They all excited about "Sissy's" birthday party and swimming! {I think it was more about the swimming part! Ha!}


They were ready to do that!  I don't think they can wait until summer so that they can swim!


I couldn't post a blog with out picture of the other niece Deidra {who is also known as Dee Deedee Deidra. thos are all various forms of what the boys call her.}



I love these girls so much!  They maybe the closest I ever get to having one of my own!  So glad Carolyn had a wonderful birthday!  Hope she has many more!

Night-time Story Levi Style

This is Levi's night-time story that he told me:

There was a boat out in the middle of the sea.
There came a storm. Boom Crash
They got there umbrellas out and to mop.
Then they went inside.
The lights went out. {some kind of electrical sound I can't repeat}
They played quiet games.
Then the clouds went away and the rainbow came out!
The End!
That was a great story!

Crazy Boys

snow snow snow

Where is all this snow coming from!?!  We never get snow like this in Arkansas.  We usually get one dusting and that is it.  This year we have had the most snow we have ever had in a long time.  This week Northwest Arkansas got about 18-20 inches of snow.  I think we got about six inches in the Southwest Arkansas.  I am not sure what the combine totals for this year is though. 

We didn't get out and play in the snow the first day.  It was just a coming down. It was so pretty!!! love seeing snow fall.  So the next day, we had to get out just to enjoy it. By that time it had already melted a little bit.  The best thing about living here and getting snow is, it usually doesn't stick around long.  Usually, we have it for two-three days and it is gone.  There have been exceptions.


I so love this little boy!! He had just thrown a snow ball at me.  He thought it was so funny! Can you tell!?!

I think they played more in the water puddle than in the snow.


They had fun and that is all that matters.


So thankful for my little boys!

February Snow.

This has been a crazy winter for us in the south.  Where we live in Southeast Arkansas, we don't always get snow.  This year we have gotten more than usual.  My boys have been loving it.  We are suppose to get some more Wednesday.  I never know if we are really going to get it or not. I am not really sure if I want more snow or not.  I just hope the boys enjoy it and have fun.


We had the dogs this time around and they LOVED playing in the snow.



The boys kept asking, "Can we go play, Can we GO PLAY?"  It really only lasted about a day.  It started melting the next day for us. 
I just love this picture of Micah.  He is so wonderful and loving.  He adores his older brother.  Micah can't wait for Levi to come home from school everyday, so he can play with him.  He doesn't let any one run over him.  He loves to help us cook and clean.  He is strong-willed and won't do anything just because you tell him to. He is growing way to fast and I am not sure how He has gotten to be such a little boy and not that little baby.


Levi, just has a sparkle about him.  He is so kind and loving.  He loves to play with his friends.  He just a wonderful little boy!! He loves to play video games and play outside.  He is a home body.  When we have to go somewhere he just, doesn't run and jump to go, unlike his brother.  He is very smart and doesn't tell you all of the things he is learning at school (which irritates me! HA! probably why he does it.)  Everyone is his friend! 

January snow day take two

So We all went out and had a big snowball fight.  Lets just say "all is not fair in love and way."  The boys don't play fair, but they expect you to.  They didn't want you to hit them in the face, but they did mind hitting you in face.

We mad a snowman and put one of Daddy's Arkansas Razorback hats on it.  My husband is a big Razorback fan!

These are all of Micah. These are my favorite of him. Like I said before, He loved the snow.  He would run and just jump in the snow.  Never have I seen a kids with such reckless abandoment when it came to the snow.

Micah was more adventerous in the snow than Levi.  Levi loved the through the snowballs though!

January snow day

Living in Arkansas we don't get very much snow.  This year for some reason we have gotten more than normal.  Our first snow was in January.  It was beautiful.  Everything shuts down around here, especially because we live in the rual part of the state.  So here are a few of our pictures.

They just had to go out a play in the snow while if was coming down.

They rolled around in the snow.
We had so much fun.
I have never seen a child that loved snow as much as Micah.  Seeing the snow through their eyes makes it so fun and so beautiful.

Oh!  We just had so much fun wish I would share all of the pictures. They are so good.  We enjoyed it so much.  Made some great memories.

My little blessings

I walked by the boys playroom tonight and found them all nestled in their covers on the floor. I love seeing them do special things like this. The special moments let me know that they do love each other. They are not only brothers, but friends.

I snapped this picture with my phone so it isn't the best quality! I love these little men so much! I am so thankful and blessed to be called their mommy!
