A Camping we did go

Well, We made our 2nd annual camping trip. We try every year (well, we would really like to go two times a year but haven't been able to yet!) camping with some friends of ours in Oklahoma who are pastors also. Their son Christian is three months younger than Levi. They are buddies!

Last year is rained, but we endured and had a blast. This year we wouldn't have asked for better weather. Steve very surprised by the fact that I love to go camping. The ones of you who know me, are probably surprised too. I have come to love it and the time that we spend as family.

We go to a place in Hochatown, OK called Beaver Bend. It is beautiful. There is so much to do. They have train rides, horse trail, hiking trail, paddle boats, and nature center. We absolutely had the best time. It is so beautiful and so peaceful.

This is down off of a dock by the river.

You feel so close to God out there. You look around and honestly see how creation cry out that there is a God! It is so beautiful!

Here is a picture of our tent. We had to buy a new one this year, because last year a raccoon clawed through ours last year because we left some bread and stuff in our tent. This year we brought a plastic tote. Well, a squirrel chewed on the tote. Thankfully it didn't get to the food. Just a small whole. The adventures we have!

I not dirty

Photobucket

Thursday morning Micah can in and did the regular morning ritual of waking up mommy and daddy. We laid there in bed playing with him. Well, really him and daddy were wrestling while I was wising they would leave so I could go back to sleep. I am not a morning person.

Steve looked at Micah and laughingly said "You're a mess!" Micah looked really seriously at his hands and shirt then look up and said "I not durty! Nope I not clean!" Steve and I died laughing at him.

Micah is growing so fast and learning so much! I feel so privileged to be his Momma!!

Easter Hunting at Church.

Well, This year at church we decided to do the Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday instead of Sunday. We had a little cook out and just had a fun relaxing time. I was a wonderful time. Love getting together with the people in the church and just having fellowship.

This is some of the kids around the picnic table. The wind was really strong that day!.

My Little Fisherman!

Apparently I have a little fisherman on my hands. We are having revival this week and the evangelist as family in the area, so He took Steve and the boys fishing. Levi caught at least five fish Steve said. I have never seen such a happy little boys. He was bouncing off the walls. It was great, just wish that I had pictures to capture the moment. He loves fishing and wants to go all the time. I know that if Levi has his way there will be many future fishing trips!!

Micah was carrying the fish and putting them in the bucket! Micah never ceases to amaze me at what He is willing to do! he will touch just about anything and do just about anything. He keeps me on my toes. They are great boys!!

We need to pray!!

On the first Wednesday night of every month we separate into our men and women's group and we also have refreshments. This Wednesday night we had chips, dip, and a variety of cookies. Levi started eating and then said "Dad we need to pray!" So Steve had to stop and pray with Him. Then Levi was happy and carried on.
