Busy, busy, busy life!

Steve and I are embarking upon a busy time in our lives. We are having to do some things to our house in Benton. We are having to put in a new bath tube, and tile in the bathroom, the half bath, and the den. We are having to redo the hard wood floor that go through the whole house. We are also going to have to redo all the electric in the house because the previous renters we stealing electricity and now everything has to brought up to code. Everything is going to have to repainted.

While we are at it we are also going to remodel the kitchen. we are going to take out a wall and a closet so that the kitchen will have more room. My brother-in-law Wade is going to be making new cabinets to install into the kitchen. This all has to be done in a month. I am really nervous about all the work that is going to have to go into all of this. Oh yeah, and two doors for the frond and the back. Plus we have to clean every inch of the house.

We are also putting down new flooring into the parsonage. Oh yeah so my life is really really crazy. I need God to give the strength to endure to the end. I know that He is capable and I just have to lean on Him.

I don't deal well with chaos at all. I am really really struggling with it right now. I fell edgy and ready to snap all the time. This is all at the thought of it! I really need God to smooth everything out so that it goes well and that we find INCREDIBLE deals on everything. I will try to post before and after pictures of the things we are doing.

Don't you just love it when your children turn your word or phases around on you!

Well, today that happened to me.

Levi and Micah were sitting on my lap reading several book. I asked Levi, " Will you please take this to the sink for me?"

Calmly and matter of fact Levi replied, " Nope, I've got my hands full!"

It was great and frustrating at the same time. He sounded so grow up.

We have a had a crazy and busy week around here.

Everyone in the house has been sick but me. I guess someone has to take care of the sick people.

One thing I would love to challenge you guys on is being an encouragement to one another! One of the things I am learning.

The bible says the "power of life and death is in the tongue." So watch what you say! Don't let negative thoughts and words!

This is one the things that God is challenging me with!


UPDATE:

Please be praying for this family their baby has trisomy 18 which is a chromosomal defect. They are going to have to have a c-section two weeks so please be praying!!

Not Me! Monday

Well, past week is over and now is the chance to share things that I have not done!

I was NOT made to feel stupid by the ER doctors when I took Levi in Tuesday night (long story another post)

I was NOT having to deal with two sick kids this week! I did NOT make Steve clean up Micah's vomit because I certainly don't have a week stomach and wouldn't have gotten sick with the smell!

Micah didn't stay up till 2:00 am because we are breaking him from sucking his fingers! He certainly isn't going through with drawls! I am not putting the NASTY tasting stuff on his fingers to break him from it!

I was not obsessed over my blog this weekend when i was making my own background and header!

Because of my obsession over my blog I don't have fifty million load of laundry and house stuff to do! I also put my house work first HA HA!

Micah didn't not write AGAIN on the church walls with a dry erase marker!

I am certainly NOT ready to paint some more. My project list is NOT growing everyday!

I did not feel at my wits end with my children this weekend. Listening to their whining and crying. I HAD LOTs of compassion on them!

My husband did not take my youngest out in public in just a diaper not not my husband he wouldn't do anything like that! Plus it wasn't like it was 70 degrees!

Prayer request

Happy Birthday to My darling husband! I love you so much! I know that I don't show it all the time. I do LOVE and ADORE you!
I will try to show you more often with my words and deeds

You are a great Husband! I know that I joke about you not being romantic, but you love me and that I what matters most.

You are an awesome Father! I love waking up in the mornings see Micah and Levi piled up in you lap watching TV or walking behind you out side to see what you are going to do! I love to watch you wrestle with them. They enjoy spending time with you! I know that you are a great example for them to follow!

Most of all you are a great man of God! It amazes me to see how God has changed and transformed your life. I pray that you are always sensitive to HIS voice and that you continue to lead this family the way that HE would have you to!

I will say that I will try to let you go hunting and fishing more.

Not Me Monday

This has been a week for not me! There have been several things that did not happen

I didn't not have to calm my self down and just go with the flow when Micah didn't get into blue paint and He certainly didn't cover the walls in the fellowship hall, Sunday school room, and the carpet with blue paint. We did not have to go rent a shampoo machine to clean the carpet. We didn't have to repaint the walls either. While cleaning that up Micah didn't go and get into the dry erase makers and color on the wall again. This most certainly isn't a regular occurrence in my life.

Micah certainly doesn't take his diaper off when he pees once and then runs around naked for a while before I decide to put another one on him.

Tonight at church i did not get two pieces of cake nope not me! Why i would be a pig! I especially didn't get another piece when we got home tonight nope not me!

I did not repeat did not laugh at my child tonight when we was trying and throwing a fit saying, "I am NOT cranky! I am not going to bed!" All the while rubbing his eyes.

I am not secretly praying that Micah will potty train himself because it took us three months to potty train Levi. It was a lot of hard work! I am not certain if he is ready or not.

I did not give into my husband and let him have his birthday present early. Nope I am a strong women and wouldn't do a thing like that.
