We had a great Christmas this year. Steve and I didn't even really ask for anything and we God so blessed. The church bought us a deep fryer, pots and pans, glasses and a gift card to Wal-Mart. It was all stuff that we needed but probably would have waited on getting. It was really awesome and I cried! I have never felt so greatful for anything before in my life.

We always or pretty much always open presents at my mom's on Christmas Eve. I didn't get any picture because my camera batterie was dead. Levi did get three costume, one red spiderman, one ironman, and one black spiderman. He loves to wear them. He looks so cute in them too. Micah loves to wear them too. Micah loves to do whatever big brother does.



On Christmas Eve we also went with some good friends of ours to see Bolt. It was a really cute movie! I suggest going to see it at least renting it. The boys really enjoyed it! Of course I didn't get picture because my camera was broke.


We went over to Steve's mom's house Christmas morning to open presents. It get kind of complicated on the Holidays because every set of parents was you at their house. So we alternate we ate christmas luch with my mom but we went and open presents at Steve's mom's house. we took some time to take pictures of the grandkids that were there.

The boys had so much fun opening presents. There so so much excitement. The loves ripping the paper and seeing what was underneth it. Micah wanted to stop and play with everyone after he opened them! Here is a picture of all the loot the boys got!!

We were so blessed! It wasn't even really about the presents this year. It was about getting to be with our family and friends and Celebrate Jesus birth. It was just an awesome time! Hope you each had a blessed Christmas!

Micah's Birthday

It was brought to my attention that I never blogged about Micah's Birthday party the other day. I had totally forgotten that I hadn't or thought that I already had.

It was a pretty low key birthday party I just invited a few people for church, our family and a few friends! Well not that many showed up, But it turned out to be whole bunch of fun. We had face painting, decorated hats, and danced to Doodle bop music with streamers and played musical chairs. Well I forgot to take pictures. I took a few but forgot to take any of Micah eating his cake or much of anything. I was crazy, because I stayed up until 4:00 in the morning making the cake.

You see my Mother-in-Law was suppose to make it, but ended up not being able to because she didn't have a cake pan. Well me being the resourceful person I am decided that I would just go ahead and do it myself. I took four 9x13 pans to make the cake. Then I took one of the boys' play guitars that is an acoustic and traced it out. then decorated it with candies. it turned out really cute I think.



Here we are decorating hats that I bought from the dollar tree. You get three hats for a dollar.



The kids really enjoy making a craft of some sort. It is very important to keep the busy at a birthday party!! If not you have kids running around and screaming.

As I said before it was a good birthday party! We had fun! It is hard to believe that He is two, and boy does He act like it.

Our little christmas Program!

The little Kids did the manger scene Sunday night. I think it was the cutest Manger Scene ever. Of course, I am not bias because my kids were in it. Micah was a Shepard. He had to have April help him to the stage. From what I was told he didn't really want to do it, but he did a great job once he got out there.


He did try to play with the sheep a couple of time though.

He also tried to come out of his costume a couple of times.

Levi was such a big boy! He walked up there and did great, but then he turned around and saw all the people.



Well, He finally got it together and gave baby Jesus his gifts!


It was funny to watch the kids! Levi and one of the other kids got into it over sheep. Levi thought that the sheep should be together and the other kid didn't want Micah's sheep to be next to this. He kicked the sheep away several time. Before it got to bad it ended.

My little Man

It is so hard for me to believe that this little man use to be this baby!!



He was definitely a surprise baby. I wasn't really sure how I was going to go with having two so close. I actually cried when I first found out that I was pregnant, but Know I wouldn't take anything in the world for him. He is an amazing little boy. He charms the socks off of people with his smile. He gets into things and just smiles and then when I tell him no the fight and tantrum comes.

Tomorrow is Micah's Second birthday. I don't really know where all the time has gone. I am sad because it seems like time went faster with him than it did with Levi.

Cowboy Christmas

The community we live in had what they called Cowboy Christmas. All of the proceeds went to the angle tree. The angle tree is for people who are in need during the Christmas. We decided that we would help as a church and do a basket ball throw. While Steve was doing that the boys and I went and had fun. The picture above was Levi waiting in line to get his face painted. The picture below is him getting his face painted. She did an excelled job. I forgot to get a picture of it all finished.


We also rode a big train, which i didn't get to take a picture of. It was really fun! Levi loved it. He loves trains still. We also rode a smaller train that was pulled by a four wheeler. It is really neat. We used it for Levi's birthday and The church also used at summer fest that we had during the summer. The kids just love it!!



yes I know they are wearing matching sweater. I think that it is just so cute! I rarely ever do it, so I don't think this one time matters!



They also got there pictures take with Santa, neither of them was too sure about as you can tell in the picture. Micah didn't really want to go to him. I don't know who Santa was but he did a great job.



We also got to go on a buggy ride. We just go a picture of us sitting the buggy. It was really neat. The horses were tired because they had been working for so long. Poor horses!!! The boys were super excited out the ride.



Micah had way too much junk. He kept getting into the candy. He loves candy canes. He was eating the candy through the wrapper!


They also had it where you paid ten dollar and would get you pictures made. The set up was really cute! The boys behaved really well too! With as much as I take their pictures they should though.






We had a great time! It really was a good weekend.

This weekend is Micah's birthday party so it will be fun! Look for picture to come.

Not Me! Monday

I did not have a melt down the other day when I went and attempted to take pictures of the boys and didn't go once I finally got them dressed!

I did not enjoy being away from the boys Friday night when we had a girls night and watched a bunch of movies that made us cry!

Micah did not flush something down the toilet and we totally don't know what it is and when he did it.

That is all the things that I didn't do this past week. Join in if you feel like it.

Well, We got our Christmas tree all trimmed. This is the first for us in a couple of years because of one thing or another. I don't think we have had a Christmas tree in a couple of years. The boys had a lot of fun with it though. I took pictures like I always do. We had fun and we broke about five ornaments. The boys thoroughly enjoyed themselves too, and of the most part are now staying out of the tree. Levi is sure to always remind us to plug it in when he wants it on. I just love how the pictures of them turned out.
