I am loving October and this AWESOME weather we have been having. The weather has be so cool and nice just perfect! Fall is Definitely here. I am just waiting for the trees to start changing colors. I am dying to get my camera out and take some fall pictures of the boys. My card is full right now, so I haven't been able to take pictures in a while.
I am wanting to take pictures for people to earn some extra money. I just haven't pushed it very much. I have friend at church who is wanting me to take pictures for her. I have taken pictures for my family several times. I love to take candid pictures of the boys all the time.
A big switch in gears. I have started getting my fall decor out. I don't have a lot. I have a little arrangement that I get out.
Then I bought a bunch of little pumpkins from Wal-Mart. I put them in a big vase on top of a TV and then I put some in a decorative dish on my kitchen table.
I also bought a small fall smelling candle. I love candles! I love burning candles! I love fire!
I would like to eventually get a wreath or something to put on our door. That is about all that I will do.
I have also decided what the boys will be for Halloween. They are going to be Buzz-light year and Woody from Toy Story. I thought it would be really cute to have then in correlating costumes. I have never done that before, so I thought it would be cute!

Show us your live: Baby Gear
I have never participated in Kelly's blog carnival "Show Us Your Life". I love baby gear and I love babies. I also know that as a new mom it hard to figure out what things you need or things you will really use. It market can be overwhelming when it come to baby gear.
The thinks that I really used were as follows:
1. I used a bouncy seat. Both of my boys like them and I would bouncy them with my foot and it calmed then down. They did out grow it rater quickly though.
2. I just used a little bath folding cradle. I used it in the sink and in the bath tub when they got older. Here is what it looks like .
3. A swing. I didn't have a very good one with my first one and he didn't like it very much. My second baby LOVE IT! We could not have lived with out it. He slept in his more that it did he bed for naps.
4. Jumparoo. We had one with micah and it kept Him entertained. Now I do have to say He out grew it rather quickly. I was given mine so I made good use out of it. I don't know if I was to spent the money on it, if I would have gotten it.
5.Exersaucer. Both of my boys loved this and it was worth the money. The played it for ours and it helped keep them in one spot so that I could get stuff done.
6. Convertible Car seat. The carriers work until the baby gets around 18-19 lbs. or until they are like 20 or 21 inches long. So when that happened i got a convertible car seat and we still are using them, because they convert to booster seat. The booster seat is what Levi is in now.
7. Pack n' play. We loved our pack and play. That is what I used beside our bed instead of a bassinet. It has a changing table attached to it.
Things I didn't use.
1. A wipe warmer. They dry the wipes out and I just didn't have one.
2. Diaper Genie. They smell and we have always gone through a lot of trash so i just put ours in the main trash can. I did use Wall-Mart sacks on the really stinky ones.
3. Sling. I never did find one i liked how it fit. They always hurt my back.
4. swaddlers. I always just used regular blankets to do that and my kids seem to like it just as much. I just never spent my money on buying one. Now I did have a friend give me a 1-2-3 swaddle and it was just like a big receiving blanket. I really liked that.

It's SPOOKY
This morning I was straightening up and cleaning out the boys' dresser. Micah had some underwear that had Spiders on it. They are Halloween under ware. Levi wiggled his little fingers and said "it's SSSSPPPPPPPPPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOKKKKKKKKKY!" I don't really know were he as gotten it, because we don't watch spooky movies or anything. I thought is was really cute and laughed at him. Then Levi bursted into tears and said "You made be said by laughing at me!" I tried explaining I thought what He said and how he said it was cute.
So here is the question. How did you deal with your kids being embarrassed when you laughed at them when they did something cute?

My rock N' rollers
The couple of nights back we went to a football game and we got rained on. We decided to go and ahead and come home. For one I don't do very well getting rained on and two I didn't want to chance the boys getting sick or anything. Well, since we came home they boys decided to put on a concert for us and it was very entertaining.
They were in the middle of the living room floor. Levi had a guitar and was rockin' the guitar out. He was all over the place. Jumping all over the place, laying on his back and crawling on the floor, jumping of my couch. Just like a real you see at some rock concert. It was so funny. The thing is he has never seen some one do that. It was great.
Micah was singing "Jesus Loves Me" rock n' roll style. He was growling it out! He was dancing and singing as loud as he could. it was the funniest and most entertaining thing. Then Micah runs into His room and grabs a drum. He was drumming and singing at the same time. It is one of the best memories.
They are such great kids! I love them so much. They keep me on my toes and laughing. I will have to see if Steve can get the video up that we recorded of it. We only got the latter half. It was great! Love love love my boys!
So what is one of your favorite memories? It can be with any one at any time in your life. Just one that makes you smile or laugh.

Bloom
Bloom is a book club started by Angie and her friend Jessica. I have decided join in and read "Crazy Love" by Francis Chan. There is a ning community that you can join in the fun there also!. It has really changed my thought process on my relationship with Christ, How I view God, and the issues or concepts I have trouble grasping of God. I love it! I love being challenged and changes. It as really been amazing. Join in!
In the book Francis Chan talks about the attributes of God. Here is the List
God is Holy.
God is Eternal
God is All-knowing
God is all-powerful
God is fair and just.
These are the questions that they asked on Bloom blog.
How do you consistently remind yourself of God?
What attribute of God is hardest for you to grasp?
I am interested what is your answer to these questions. Leave a comment if you feel like sharing. If you don't feel like sharing then write and journal or self-reflect.
I felt like joining in because I need the accountability of finishing the book. Join if you want to! there are some great discussions going on.

happy birthday Levi!!
This little guy was born four years ago, August 17th, 2005. He was 6 lbs. 8oz. and 19 3/4 inches long. He was the smallest little thing. I remember his birth story like it was yesterday. I want to write it but not today.
Levi is now four. He is a handsome little boys. He has transitioned from baby to toddler to little boy. He is adventurous in his own timing. Even in his adventurousness he is still cautious. This evening we went to the park and they have a ladder to climb on one of the side. He would set his foot down a couple of time before taking that finale step to the top. I think Micah's adventurousness also brings out Levi's. He see little brother doing it so he does it.
He is such a pleaser. He want to do things to please us as parents and very quick to say sorry.
Levi has the memory of an elephant. He can remember things that happened last year and months ago.
He has very quickly become independent and want to do things on his own, but then some times he regresses and wants us to do things for him. I love both times, because all to quickly he won't want my help any more.
One of his favorite things to do is to play outside in the dirt, swing, slide and play with His army men. He loves build houses and give them to his momma. He always goes back to his first love of trains. Likes to colors . He loves to do new things and go new places, but at the same time he like routine. He is loving, but only on his timing. He Loves to laugh and you can't help but laugh when he does. He loves his little brother.
He is growing up all to quickly!

Where have I been!?!
I haven't been around to blog much. Steve and I have been really busy with our rent house. It has been crazy. We come home for Sundays and Wednesday then we left to go back to work some more. This is what we have been doing for the last three weeks.
I painted every room in the entire house.
They put in new counter tops and cabinets. Which I posted on Facebook.
Steve refinished the hardwood floors (this was done a couple of months ago) and fixed wall down stars.
We put concrete siding one of the outside walls because it was rotten.
Painted the concrete floor down in the den.
Laid tile in the kitchen, dining room, and bathroom. (that was actually done a couple of months ago)
Put a new sink and wall tile in the bathroom. The tile part had already been laid but had to be grouted.
They also had to fix a couple of roof leaks.
I think that that was it. You know what else. I didn't get a single picture of the after. I got picture of the before, but don't know where they are. That just goes to show you what kind of month it has been for us. I do have to say that my husband and brother-in-laws made it look nice.
The process has been crazy for me. I have wanted to scream and cry all through at times. I was crazy women at times!
It made me think about how God is continually working on us. How is is tearing out the bad and replacing it with HIS Good. How He is taking out dirty rotten selves and making them clean. He never get impatient or upset with us when the process takes a long time. I am so thankful for that. Through it He has taught me lessons and is continuing to teach me. For that I am so thankful!
