AWESOME story

My unique boys

Last night the boys got into Levi's closet and Steve went in there. He made the clean it up and Levi started crying. So Steve said "Go to your momma." Steve just doesn't do well when Levi starts whining and crying. You know I didn't really want to hear him wail. Shrieking to the top of his lungs. I said " I don't want to hear it either. Go to your room." Levi walked by his room and screamed "Momma don't want me!" After he went to his room and calmed down. I went in and talked with him that it wasn't that I didn't want him. I just didn't like his behavior at that time. Really his screaming. I am trying to teach him it is okay to voice your dislike but don't scream.

Levi is turning into such a little boy. He is really into Spider man, Batman, and Power Rangers. It is crazy. WE have all kind of pretend fights and stuff. It gets really crazy in my house these days. The older they get the more rowdy. They both climb to the top of the house it seems.

Poor Micah is a story all of his own. That boys keeps me on my toes. He his a very sweet loving child, but just don't make him mad. He will through him self a big O' hissy fit. He throws him self down back ward on the floor. I don't really what to do with the child most of the time. He bites and pinches his big brother! Levi doesn't retaliate most of the time. Micah is very smart and talks very well for a two year old. He loves to crawl up and sit in our laps, talk with us, and eat hot dogs. That boys loves some hot dogs. He has learned to get into the frig and get his own.

Micah also has a hundred and one expressions. I have posted some previously but they are new ones everyday it seems.

I love my boys so much. They are great boys. I just pray that God continues to guide Steve and I as they grow. They are both so different and unique.

Please hold this family up in your prayers. Their little girl has an aggressive form of Leukemia. They really need out prayers because She is going into the a very difficult part of her treatment. Please go to their Blog and let them know that You are praying for them!

New Year's Resolutions.

I despise new year's resolutions, because most people don't keep them over all. As I find myself coming into this new year are things that I want God to truly change in my life.
I want to become a better mother and wife.

I want to draw closer to God this year.

I want to loose weight.

I truly want change in my life.

Steve and I were talking on the way to bible study about how I have come to embrace change in our lives. Of course we have moved about every 1 1/2 so that helps. I get sick and tired of being sick and tired.

I am tired of being over weight.

I am tired of some of my habits that I have allowed to take root in my heart. I want with all of my heart for GOD to change me, mold me, transform, and form to His will and His ways.

Lets embark upon this new year with the mind set know that CHANGE is going to happen in our lives this year. Let's pray that God will totally transform our lives. I know that if we make a step towards HIM; He will step towards us.

We had a great Christmas this year. Steve and I didn't even really ask for anything and we God so blessed. The church bought us a deep fryer, pots and pans, glasses and a gift card to Wal-Mart. It was all stuff that we needed but probably would have waited on getting. It was really awesome and I cried! I have never felt so greatful for anything before in my life.

We always or pretty much always open presents at my mom's on Christmas Eve. I didn't get any picture because my camera batterie was dead. Levi did get three costume, one red spiderman, one ironman, and one black spiderman. He loves to wear them. He looks so cute in them too. Micah loves to wear them too. Micah loves to do whatever big brother does.



On Christmas Eve we also went with some good friends of ours to see Bolt. It was a really cute movie! I suggest going to see it at least renting it. The boys really enjoyed it! Of course I didn't get picture because my camera was broke.


We went over to Steve's mom's house Christmas morning to open presents. It get kind of complicated on the Holidays because every set of parents was you at their house. So we alternate we ate christmas luch with my mom but we went and open presents at Steve's mom's house. we took some time to take pictures of the grandkids that were there.

The boys had so much fun opening presents. There so so much excitement. The loves ripping the paper and seeing what was underneth it. Micah wanted to stop and play with everyone after he opened them! Here is a picture of all the loot the boys got!!

We were so blessed! It wasn't even really about the presents this year. It was about getting to be with our family and friends and Celebrate Jesus birth. It was just an awesome time! Hope you each had a blessed Christmas!

Micah's Birthday

It was brought to my attention that I never blogged about Micah's Birthday party the other day. I had totally forgotten that I hadn't or thought that I already had.

It was a pretty low key birthday party I just invited a few people for church, our family and a few friends! Well not that many showed up, But it turned out to be whole bunch of fun. We had face painting, decorated hats, and danced to Doodle bop music with streamers and played musical chairs. Well I forgot to take pictures. I took a few but forgot to take any of Micah eating his cake or much of anything. I was crazy, because I stayed up until 4:00 in the morning making the cake.

You see my Mother-in-Law was suppose to make it, but ended up not being able to because she didn't have a cake pan. Well me being the resourceful person I am decided that I would just go ahead and do it myself. I took four 9x13 pans to make the cake. Then I took one of the boys' play guitars that is an acoustic and traced it out. then decorated it with candies. it turned out really cute I think.



Here we are decorating hats that I bought from the dollar tree. You get three hats for a dollar.



The kids really enjoy making a craft of some sort. It is very important to keep the busy at a birthday party!! If not you have kids running around and screaming.

As I said before it was a good birthday party! We had fun! It is hard to believe that He is two, and boy does He act like it.
